Hello All! December has been a really fun month! It's really the first month since Greyson got his trache that we've seen some improvements! We've had alot of fun days! He's awake alot more and a happy boy most of the time! Some things that have happened this month: 1)First Birthday!! Which is huge! We celebrated Greyson's first birthday the Saturday after thanksgiving. (his bday is Dec1) We had about 30 friend and family crammed into his nicu room to sing happy birthday and open presents. He slept through most of it but that's OK :) He is one very loved little boy! We are so thankful for everyone's encouragement and prayers this past year! There have been many times we weren't sure if we'd get to celebrate his first birthday, but God is good! 2) He's had to go on a diet! Haha! Doc said he's gaining weight too fast! He's up to 20lbs now! Quite a difference from this time last year when he weighed around 3lbs I think. 3) He's been smiling and almost laughing! He's also almost figured out peek-a-boo. Haha He loves to cover up his face with his blanket. It's too cute! As far as progress its still slow going. The pulmonary doctors have started him on a new breathing treatment which seems to be helping a good bit. Were still a long way off but at least Greyson acts much happier! The Christmas season has been alot of fun! Greyson's had a ton of visitors and more gifts than we know what to do with! Here are a few photos from this month:
